Fishers Police Department used a drone early Wednesday to track and arrest a suspect after he fled on foot following a wrong-way driving incident on an Interstate 69 exit ramp.
The suspect, Adolfo Florentino, 21, was apprehended after officers and a police dog found him hiding in a treeline.
Police saw Florentino driving the wrong way on an interstate exit ramp, prompting a short vehicle chase. After abandoning his vehicle, Florentino tried flee on foot, so the drone was put in the sky.
Florentino was arrested on preliminary faces charges of resisting arrest and possession of methamphetamine.
