Fishers police have arrested two burglary suspects with possible connections to a South American theft group.
At approximately 10:30 p.m. Monday, police officers responded to a residential alarm in the 15600 Block of Alistair Drive. As officers arrived, they observed two men running away. Officers quickly established a perimeter and began searching for the suspects.
One suspect was located and taken into custody without incident. The second suspect was apprehended by Fishers Police K9 Rexo and sustained a minor injury. Both suspects were medically evaluated by Paramedics with the Fishers Fire Department and transported to the Hamilton County Jail.

Charly Sneider Benavides Mayorga, 34, New York City, N.Y., was charged with Burglary of a Dwelling, a Level 4 Felony; Resisting Law Enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor; and Possession of a False Government Identification, a Class A Misdemeanor.
Jhon Jairo Lopera Munoz, 33, New York City, N.Y., was charged with Burglary of a Dwelling, a Level 4 Felony; Resisting Law Enforcement, a Class A Misdemeanor; and Possession of a False Government Identification, a Class A Misdemeanor.
A charge is merely an accusation, and the arrested person(s) is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
