Fishers police arrest man for assault, robbery

Fishers Police Detectives have made an arrest after investigating the assault and robbery of a man in the Bristols Neighborhood (126th Street and Brooks School Road). Anthony S. Williams II, 35, Noblesville, was arrested and charged with robbery (Level 3 Felony), criminal confinement with a deadly weapon (Level 3 Felony), battery with a deadly weapon (Level 5 Felony), battery (Level 6 Felony), pointing a firearm (Level 6 Felony), theft (A Misdemeanor), dealing marijuana (A Misdemeanor) and possession of a controlled substance (A Misdemeanor).

During the early morning hours of Jan. 31, Fishers police responded to a man claiming to have been assaulted and robbed at a residence in the 12300 block of Steelers Boulevard. Officers located the victim walking near the intersection of 126th Street and Hoosier Road. Officers observed the man had sustained multiple non-life-threatening injuries consistent with being assaulted. Prior to being transported to the hospital, the victim told officers the name of the man that beat and robbed him. The victim reported he was visiting with some friends at a home on Steelers Boulevard. The victim believed the homeowner invited the suspect inside. Shortly thereafter the suspect attacked the victim.

Fishers Police Detectives and Evidence Technicians responded to speak with witnesses and collect evidence. Officers located the suspect, took him into custody and transported him to the Hamilton County Jail without incident.
