The Hamilton County Reporter has named Fishers senior Sam Quagliaroli as its Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year.
Quagliaroli enjoyed a dominant season for the Tigers, running away with sectional and regional titles before claiming the individual state championship in a time of 14 minutes, 46.9 seconds, helping Fishers get on the podium with a fifth-place finish. Quagliaroli also triumphed at the county and Hoosier Crossroads Conference meets.
