Fishers’ girls team picked up its eighth straight victory Tuesday by sailing past Pike 66-42 at the Tiger Den.
The Red Devils led 12-11 after the first quarter, but the Tigers came back to outscore Pike in each of the next three periods. Two 3-pointers from Joirdyn Smith in the second quarter helped Fishers move ahead 27-20 by halftime. In the third quarter, Karina Scott drained a pair of triples, and the Tigers defense held the Red Devils to six points. Fishers led 44-26 going into the fourth quarter, and scored 22 points in that period.
Olivia Smith led Fishers with 11 points, while Joirdyn Smith scored nine. Talia Harris, Kate Thomas and Allison Scheu all added eight points.
The Tigers are 14-2 and play Saturday at North Central.
