Fishers Department of Fire and Emergency Services has announced the award recipients from the 2023 Awards Ceremony held on Feb. 17 at Heartland Church in Fishers.
This annual ceremony honors the men and women of the department for their bravery, dedication, and outstanding service as firefighters, EMS, community risk reduction, and support staff.
Community Risk Reduction Specialist Ashley Heckly emceed the afternoon event with Fishers City Councilor Cecilia Coble presenting the Oath of Office to recently promoted officers, and department Chaplain Gary Stump offering Invocation and Benediction. The department’s Honor Guard presented colors, supported by the music of the Indianapolis Public Safety Pipes and Drums.
