Fishers dropped its opener on Monday, falling to Tri-West 10-3 in a home game.
The Bruins led 5-0 midway through the sixth inning, before the Tigers got on the board. Brooke Johnson doubled in Jenna Grubb for Fishers’ first run of the game. The Tigers added two more runs in the seventh inning when Hannah Trueblood’s single sent Taylor Duplessis and Hannah Kinder homer.
Kate Murray pitched six and two-thirds innings, striking out eight.
Fishers hosts Warren Central on Friday.
