The Fishers boys basketball team completed its first undefeated regular season in program history on Tuesday.
The Class 4A No. 1 Tigers rolled past North Central 86-56 in an away game. Fishers led 24-9 after one quarter, with Cooper Zachary scoring eight points, including two 3-pointers. Zachary repeated himself in the second period, again nailing two 3s to score eight points. Justin Kirby added six points, part of a 47-26 Tigers halftime lead.
Fishers blasted through the third quarter, pouring in 31 points for a 78-45 advantage. Seven different Tigers players scored in the third, including nine from Jason Gardner Jr.
Zachary finished the game with 22 points, followed by Gardner and JonAnthony Hall with 16 each. Hall scored six points in the third quarter. Kirby finished with 15 points.
The Tigers are 24-0 and play Westfield Tuesday in a first-round game at the Carmel sectional.
