Fishers got back on the winning track Tuesday, toughing out a 59-55 win at Arsenal Tech.
The Tigers used balanced scoring to hold an early lead in the first half, going up 10-8 in the first quarter and 23-20 at halftime. Five different players scored in each quarter.
Fishers led 42-37 after three quarters, with Jeff Simmons and Terry Hicks each contributing five points in that period. The Tigers then held on in the fourth, thanks to an 11-of-14 effort from the free throw ling. Hicks and Willie Jackson were both 4-for-4 from the line in that quarter.
Hicks finished the game with 16 points, including a pair of 3-pointers. Simmons added 14 points, while Jackson scored 13.
Fishers is 10-4 for the season and returns to Hoosier Crossroads Conference play on Friday with a trip to Brownsburg for a girl-boy doubleheader.
