Fish fry will benefit Fishers UMC food pantry & missions

Fishers United Methodist Church will hold a Dan’s Fish Fry from 4:15 to 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 3.

The menu includes all-you-can-eat fish and chicken strips, with side dishes of baked beans, coleslaw or applesauce, bread, and pie. Cost is $12 for adults and $7 for children five and above. (Children under age 5 are free.) Tickets can be purchased at the church office, 9691 E. 116th St., Fishers, and also will be available at the door.

Dine-in, carryout, and drive-thru will be available. Proceeds from the event will support the Come to Me Food Pantry, as well as adult and youth mission trips.

The Come to Me Food Pantry serves families in all of Hamilton County, as well as the McCordsville and Fortville areas. Each week, between 5,000 and 8,000 pounds of food is distributed from 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

The adult and youth mission teams serve deprived areas in the U.S. each summer, doing repairs, cleaning, and building in areas of need.
