A parade through Fishers Saturday evening brought the community together near the end of the first Spark!Fishers festival. According to the Spark!Fishers website, the parade told “the story of Fishers from inception to present day with an ongoing theme of illumination and the spark of ingenuity.” Parade grand marshals included Mayor Scott Fadness, HSE Schools Superintendent Dr. Allen Bourff, Conner Prairie CEO Norman Burns and retired HSE S.P.O.R.T.S. Executive Director Lynda Carlino.
