Field day: Huskies take fifth-place HC game over Twin Lakes

Hamilton Heights clinched fifth place in the Hoosier Conference with an exciting 69-68 win at Twin Lakes on Friday.
The Huskies trailed the Indians 16-12 after the first quarter, but slowly edged their way back, getting within 48-47 after three periods. Heights jumped ahead 61-58 with 3:10 left, thanks to three fourth-quarter 3-pointers from AJ Field.
The game was tied at 66-all with under a minute to go. The Indians made a basket, but then Field struck again, nailing another 3 with eight seconds left. That turned out to be all Heights needed to secure the win.
Field finished the game with 21 points and five 3-pointers – he made one in the first quarter before he caught fire in the fourth. Gus Etchison was all over the place with 12 points, nine assists and four steals. Tyler Wiltermood added 12 points and Drayden Thomas scored 11 and pulled seven rebounds.
