BerryComm announces the arrival of its fiber-optic internet to Hamilton County, and it’s doing so by holding a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Northern Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce building, 70 N. Byron St., Cicero, at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 10.
BerryComm is completing an extensive buildout bringing broadband internet to the county with gigabit per second (Gbps) speeds. The company is investing $4 million into building a fiber network which will make fiber to the premises available for over 6,000 homes and businesses in northern Hamilton County.
In addition to BerryComm’s initial investment, further expansion is planned for the entire Hamilton Heights school district pending the approval of a grant application that has been submitted. The construction is completing in five phases, with the first phases completing in the first quarter of 2022.
BerryComm’s first internet subscribers in the Cicero area will have service delivered to start the new year. The other phases will follow with estimated completions each quarter.
BerryComm says its gigabit fiber internet will provide broadband service to northern Hamilton County at a competitive price. In addition to Hamilton County, the company is in the process of expanding its services to numerous other areas, including Howard and Cass counties.

Hello:
We live just west west of Arcadia and this is great news. Unfortunately your map misses us by one road. Is there any plan to expand?
Thank you,
Andy
We live in Wayne Twp East of Noblesville an are seeing activity (grey fiber terminal boxes) sitting on the roads just South of us on State Road 32. When will we have fiber installed up to 196th & Prairie Baptist Road? We are eager to kick Centurylink DSL and Dish TV to the curb!
Thanks
