FGAA aims to assist 3,000 Fishers residents in need

The Fishers Government Academy Association (FGAA) is hosting its annual Make It Personal Spring Donation Drive, collecting personal care items to benefit Delaware and Fall Creek Township pantries. In 2017, these pantries served the needs of more than 3,000 residents with food and sundries. The Make It Personal drive is focused on personal care items – items not covered by the Indiana food stamps program, but essential to health and quality of life.

Community support is necessary April 16-30 in order to reach the goal.

Donation boxes for Personal Care Items will be located at:

  • Fishers YMCA (9012 E. 126th St.)
  • Delaware Township Office (9090 E. 131st St.) Monetary donations also accepted here.
  • Fall Creek Township Office (11595 Brooks School Road) Monetary donations also accepted here.
  • Britton Falls, The Chateau (13079 Del Webb Pkwy.)

Donation ideas: Soaps and cleansers, shampoo and conditioner, razors, brushes, combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, dental floss, lotions, children’s shampoo, deodorant, toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, etc. Sensitive skin and hypoallergenic products are also appreciated.
