Join the Carmel Symphony Orchestra this Saturday for an enchanting evening of music at the Palladium at the Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, featuring two of Claude Debussy’s most beloved works.
The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8.
Let the timeless beauty of “Clair de Lune” transport you with its delicate, moonlit charm, and experience the grandeur of “La Mer,” Debussy’s sweeping orchestral tribute to the sea.
This extraordinary program is part of a celebration of the Lunar New Year and Lantern Festival, blending classical treasures with cultural traditions. The evening also features pianist Daniel Epstein performing the “Yellow River Concerto,” a piece he first performed in 1973 with Eugene Ormandy and the Philadelphia Orchestra, just before their historic tour of China.
