On Wednesday, The Reporter met Steve & Melinda Johns at Bien Mexicana, 150 S. Peru St., Cicero, while they were enjoying food so good it has been featured on America’s Best Restaurants. While they were a day late for Bien’s new Taco Tuesday, they were right on time for date night … or they would have been if a certain philosopher-turned-publisher hadn’t roped Steve into a lengthy talk about Albert Camus, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and E. M. Cioran. That may sound a bit absurd, but sometimes everything is permitted. When a meeting is simply an accident, why take it all so seriously?
