He graduated from Fishers High School in May 2011, and upon graduation attended Purdue University where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management in May 2015. Power Design, coincidentally, afforded Evan the opportunity to return to Houston, Texas, to assist in project completion. Evan loved his work, his friends and coworkers at Power Design.

Soccer was Evan’s long-time passion, from youth through college, and as an adult. He also enjoyed fishing, outdoor activities, and loved being near the water. He was a sports fan and especially enjoyed cheering his Purdue Boilermakers and Indianapolis Colts.

Evan will always be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, beautiful smile, calm demeanor, loving heart, and deep, kind soul.

He leaves behind his beloved parents; sister, Sara (Daniel) Thoennes Cline; nephew, Isaac Cline; uncles, Greg (Kathy) Thoennes and Gerald (Lisa) Shaffer; cousins, Jessica (Matt) James and their children Jonathan and Savannah, Matt (Hope) Thoennes and their children Lylah and Collins, Katherine (Brendon) Santolin, Michelle Shaffer, and Lauren Shaffer; and step-grandmother Penny Carmichael Shaffer.
