Esther Louise Kronenberg

August 3, 1932 – July 14, 2024

Esther Louise Kronenberg, 91, Cicero, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

Esther was born in Cicero on August 3, 1932, to the late Edgar and Terri (Hunt) Dick. On September 20, 1949, she married Edward “Jim” James Kronenberg and shared 51 years of marriage.

Esther attended Cicero Schools until her marriage to Jim. She was a homemaker and loved nothing more than caring for her family. She was known for her orderly housekeeping and was an excellent seamstress. In her free time, Esther enjoyed crafting, pottery, and making ornaments. She was active in a bowling league, was an aerobics instructor at a health spa, and enjoyed playing piano by ear. She was a long-time member of Cicero Christian Church but had more recently started attending Omega Christian Church.

Esther is survived by her son, Timothy Edward (Jenny) Kronenberg of Noblesville; daughters, Leisa Kay Heinzman of Fishers, and Marsha Ann (Donald) Chance of Noblesville; seven grandchildren, Dawnelle (Craig) Bryant of Cicero, D. “Mike” Michael Heinzman, Jr. of Noblesville, Chad Chance of Westfield, Tisha Wright of Indiana, Kyle (Ashley) Heinzman of Noblesville, Brandon Chance of Westfield, and Felicia (Ray) Ehlers of Madison, Ind.; 16 great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; brother, Keith William (Carol) Dick of Cicero; sisters, Carol Lee Hartsock of Noblesville and Virginia “Ginny” Mae Harrison of Crawfordsville; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Along with her husband and parents, Esther was preceded in death by her daughters, Anita Mae Kronenberg and Melanie Sharon Wright; brothers, Edgar Dick, Jr., Henry Dick, Joe Dick, Charley Dick, and Carl Dick; and sisters, Marjorie Roudebush and Mary Ellen Lockwood.

A time for visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at Hartley Funeral Home, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, July 19, 2024, at Hartley Funeral Home, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero, with Pastor Neal Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Cicero Cemetery.
