Even though fall looms right around the corner, the summer nights continue on the stage at Feinstein’s. Crossroads Entertainment’s Don Farrell presents two terrific cabaret’s – Summer Nights: The Music of Grease and Frank Sinatra: The Tribute.
On Thursday, Sept. 19, it’s high school again at Feinstein’s at Hotel Carmichael with Summer Nights: The Music of Grease. Crossroads Entertainment launches its newest cabaret of the “Don Farrell presents …” series. Get your fine dining and fine performance experience with a healthy serving of teen angst as four of Indy’s finest musical theatre performers join Don Farrell and the Terry Woods Band as they sing about peer pressure, hormones, teenage rebellion, and love while sharing behind-the-scenes stories of the musical that brought rock and roll to Broadway.
Come dressed in your nostalgic letter sweaters and dungarees, poodle skirts and Bobbi socks, and best retro attire and maybe win the award for best dressed. Join the cast as they lead you in the Hand Jive and some fun sing-a-longs.
Then on Friday, Sept. 20 Don Farrell returns with Frank Sinatra: The Tribute.
Join Don Farrell and the Terry Woods Orchestra for a swinging, seductive, and handsomely produced show as they pay homage to the “Chairman of the Board” with a tasteful celebration of Sinatra’s life and work. What you won’t get is a crass impersonation of Sinatra. Instead, you will be crooned to with song after stylish song like “Summer Wind,” “One for My Baby,” “In The Wee Small Hours of the Morning,” “Fly Me to the Moon,” and many others.
You’ll be tapping your toes to these full and lush songs with choice arrangements while anecdotes and fun stories of Ol’ Blue Eyes are interspersed throughout. So, come to Feinstein’s and live again the urbanity, grace, and style of the man who dared to do it his way.
You can get your tickets for both shows online at Eventbrite.
