Come to the Carmel Arts & Design District from 5 to 9 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 11 for Allied Solutions’ Meet Me on Main. Make your way to Main Street and Range Line Road for an evening of art, shopping, music, and more.
Meet Me on Main is the City of Carmel’s monthly “second Saturday” event to highlight local galleries, restaurants and design-related businesses in the District. Art galleries and businesses will feature special events specially planned to enhance the art and design-related features of the District. Enjoy live music, free caricatures inside the All Things Carmel store, and make-and-take snow globes at the Art Lab (located on the second floor, enter at 37 E. Main St., Suite 300).
There will be an opportunity to register to win one of three $100 gift cards by visiting participating merchants and dropping your name and contact information into a special drawing that will take place the following week. The gift cards will be from select Arts District businesses. Be sure to visit as many galleries and shops as possible to increase your chance to win.

Art on Main
Art on Main, 111 W. Main St., Suite 140, has their halls decked for the holidays. They offer both fun and fine art and a variety of gifts for the special people on your list and all created by local Indiana artists. Items include pottery, candles, jewelry, mosaic art, cards, paintings, ornaments, soaps, handbags, and clothing. Children will enjoy watching their train running through a winter wonderland of mosaic trees and art.
Art Studio of Carmel
The Art Studio of Carmel, 30 N. Range Line Road, features original artwork by Deb Slack, Barb Gregory, Cy Donnelly, and Sandy Burke, as well as Christmas-themed artwork and art suitable for small gifts.
CCA Gallery & Gifts
CCA Gallery, 111 W. Main St., Suite 135, features an amazing collection of unique handmade ornaments carefully designed and created by many of their 37 member artists. All types of art can be found at CCA Gallery, perfect for gift-giving this holiday season. They are also giving a free Arts & Design District mug ($15 value) with any purchase over $100 and encourage visitors to stop by and register to win one of four CCA Gallery gift certificates. Winners will be drawn on Christmas Eve.
Indiana Artisan Gallery
At Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery, 22 N. Range Line Road, watch Craig Mullins paint from 5 to 9 p.m. Mullins combines his artistic eye for detail with this architectural experience to create landscapes, barnscapes, florals, and wildlife images with acrylic or pastels on canvas. Enjoy a cup of mulled cider while you browse the work of about 120 artists and listen for holiday carolers sharing cheer around 6:45 p.m.
Indiana Design Center
Join Rusted Window and Holder Mattress at the Indiana Design Center, 200 S. Range Line Road, this Saturday during Meet Me on Main from 5 to 9 p.m. Both showrooms will offer special sales and exclusive discounts. Plus, bring your pet for a free holiday pet portrait. Let the lens of Bubbly B Pet Photography capture your furry friend in a holiday themed shot. Each participant will have a digital image emailed to them post shoot and will be entered to win a private portrait session with Bubbly B. Kids can create their own free Christmas ornament while supplies last. There will also be a hot cocoa bar and treats for the whole family. Park in the lot at the Indiana Design Center or take a ride on the Carmel Holiday Trolley for a fantastic Meet Me on Main.

- Papa Fattoush, 15 E. Main St., is offering a free appetizer during the event hours with minimum $30 purchase, if you mention Meet Me on Main.

Range Line Road, Suite 120B, at the Indiana Design Center will stay open late and will host a dog photographer for holiday pet portraits, a hot cocoa bar, a kids’ holiday craft and both showrooms will offer special discounts on merchandise.
- The Olive Mill, 10 S. Range Line Road, will be open late and will offer 20 percent off all artist created gifts including Glass Art by Pam Niccum of Carmel and Ceramics by Tracy Payne Gamble of Indianapolis. They will also give away a $100 gift certificate selected from those who enter the raffle.
Holiday Trolley
The free Carmel Holiday Trolley will also be running from 2 to 9 p.m. this Saturday. Stops include the Ice at Carter Green and Christkindlmarkt, the Indiana Design Center (near Holder Mattress), Main Street near Agave Bar & Grill, Bub’s Burgers and Ice Cream, Carmel City Center and Midtown Plaza. The free trolley runs from 5 to 9 p.m. on Fridays and from 2 to 9 p.m. on Saturdays until Saturday, Dec. 18.
