Enjoy the best in art, shopping at Meet Me on Main in Carmel this Saturday

Come to the Carmel Arts & Design District from 5 to 9 p.m. this Saturday, Jan. 8 for Allied Solutions’ Meet Me on Main. Make your way to Main Street and Range Line Road for an evening of art, shopping, music, and more.

Meet Me on Main is the City of Carmel’s monthly “second Saturday” event to highlight local galleries, restaurants and design-related businesses in the District. Art galleries and businesses will feature special events specially planned to enhance the art and design-related features of the District.

Visit the art galleries and businesses to enjoy their special offers, and be sure to stop by The All Things Carmel store for free caricatures and to sample a highlight of winter seasonal flavors from three local breweries in partnership with the Carmel Brews & Barrels Trail; go to Indiana Artisan for winter collage make-and-take art kits provided by the Art Lab; and enjoy the Festival of Ice – featuring ice sculptures on Main Street from 4 to 7 p.m.

There will be an opportunity to register to win one of three $100 gift cards by visiting participating merchants and dropping your name and contact information into a special drawing that will take place the following week. The gift cards will be from select Arts District businesses. Be sure to visit as many galleries and shops as possible to increase your chance to win.

Art on Main, 111 W. Main St., Suite 140. The front room show will feature “Randall Scott Harden and Deb Slack and their Star Students Show.” Stop by to see paintings available for purchase by talented local artists, along with new works by the 20 permanent members of the Art on Main Gallery.

CCA Gallery & Gifts

CCA Gallery, 111 W. Main St., Suite 135. Stop by CCA Gallery’s Annual Indoor “Sidewalk” Sale. They are making room in their studios for new 2022 pieces and the community is invited to check out their reduced-price bins, ornaments, and originals throughout the month of January.

Indiana Artisan Gallery

At Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery, 22 N. Range Line Road, Carmel’s own mosaic master, Nancy Keating, will demonstrate how she turns slivers, slices, and scraps of tempered glass – sometimes called crash glass – into fun, colorful mosaic art at Indiana Artisan Gifts & Gallery. Her lovely seascapes in glass will warm you during this cold winter season.

  • All Things Carmel (110 W. Main St.) In partnership with the Carmel Brews & Barrels Trail, the All Things Carmel store is highlighting winter seasonal flavors from three local breweries.
  • Xchocol’art (228 W. Main St.) is offering hot sipping cocoa until 6 p.m.
  • Sub Zero Nitrogen Ice Cream (111 W. Main St.) will be open from 1 to 9 p.m. All hot drinks are Buy One Get One Free. You can also sign up for their loyalty program and receive a 10 percent discount off your entire order.
  • Peace Water Winery (37 W. Main St.) will feature live music from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. The back patio is family-friendly.
