On Saturday, Sept. 7, Sheridan First Christian Church, 107 W. 3rd St., will hold its annual Music Fest & Cruise-In, inviting residents of all ages to enjoy an evening filled with live music, classic automobiles, and family-friendly activities from 4 to 8 p.m.
The event promises a vibrant display of vintage cars, providing car enthusiasts the opportunity to showcase their prized vehicles. Starting at 3 p.m., vintage car owners can begin parking in the church lot, with additional space available in the adjacent lot. The east parking lot is accessible via Main Street. Attendees will have the chance to vote for their favorite “Show & Shine” vehicle, with the People’s Choice award to be presented at 7:30 p.m. The winner must be present to win.
Families can look forward to a dedicated play area for children, ensuring entertainment for the little ones while adults enjoy the festivities. Live music performances will create a lively atmosphere, complemented by a variety of food options available for purchase. Vendors will accept cash as well as major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
In addition to the entertainment, the Music Fest & Cruise-In will feature a collection drive for bras, cell phones, eyeglasses, hearing aids, and shoes, supporting local community needs.
Weather permitting, the event will take place outdoors. However, in the event of rain, music, and food will be relocated to the ADA-accessible basement of Sheridan First Christian Church to ensure the festivities continue uninterrupted.
