The Hamilton County Household Hazardous Waste Center will host a free paper shredding event for county residents from 8 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds, 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville.
During the Shred Day event, Hamilton County Emergency Management volunteers are partnering with the Good Samaritan Network to collect canned goods to help those in need this holiday season.
“Our dedicated volunteers are excited to put their donation management skills to the test by collecting canned food during the Shred Day event,” said Monica Peterson, Community Outreach and Volunteer Coordinator for Emergency Management.
