Ellspermann to speak at OneZone luncheon

Continued strong economic development requires an available and educated workforce. So the state of Indiana has adopted a big goal – increase the proportion of adult Hoosiers with quality education and training beyond high school to 60 percent of the state’s population by 2025.

Ellspermann

Ivy Tech Community College President Dr. Sue Ellspermann will speak to OneZone members and guests at their monthly luncheon from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 21 at Ritz Charles, 12156 N. Meridian St., Carmel.

Ellspermann will share how the college’s new five-year strategic plan aligns education with the needs of the workforce – present and future – and how Ivy Tech is working with the state and its community partners to determine how to connect employers with the workforce they need.

Cost for OneZone members is $25 and $35 for non-members. Reservations are required by noon on Monday, Feb. 19. Reserve at onezonecommerce.com or call 317-436-4653.
