Ella Whistler, NWMS students sing, perform during Colts game

Sporting Miller black and gold, Ella Whistler, the 13-year-old girl who was shot seven times in a May 25 shooting at Noblesville West Middle School, served as honorary captain of the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders on Sunday afternoon.

Ella also was the coin toss captain and represented Noblesville West’s cheer and dance teams on Sunday as the Colts played the Miami Dolphins. She also sang with the Noblesville West Middle School show choir.

The Indianapolis Colts tweeted about Whistler’s performance Sunday, calling her “strong.”
