The financial services firm Edward Jones recently was named the No. 1 major company (1,000 employees or more) on the Top 125 Places to Work in Indiana ranking, according to Corey Sylvester, a financial advisor in Cicero.

BizVoice magazine teamed up with the Best Companies Group of Harrisburg, Pa., to rank the state’s best employers. Companies named Top 125 Places to work in Indiana for 2018 were divided into 13 “major” companies, with 1,000 or more U.S. employees, 25 large companies, 30 medium companies and 57 small-sized companies by the number employees in Indiana.
The ranking was based on an employer inventory of practices and an anonymous survey of employees who were asked to agree or disagree with dozens of statements about the firm, teamwork and their individual experience at the firm. For 13 consecutive years, Edward Jones has ranked in the top six Best Places to Work in Indiana.
