Edith “Louise” Harber, 86, Noblesville, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at Prairie Lakes Health Campus in Noblesville. She was born on March 20, 1938, to George and Edith (Sutton) Fleenor in Saint Charles, Va.
For 28 years, Louise worked for Firestone Industrial Products, retiring in 1990 as a pressline worker. She was a member of Pentecostal Lighthouse Church in Noblesville and enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and gardening. Most of all, Louise loved spending time with her grandkids.
She is survived by her brothers, Olen Fleenor, Jimmy (Jill) Fleenor, and Johnny (Angie) Fleenor; sister, Shirley (Clyde) Harber; son-in-law, Douglas Coverdale; three grandchildren, Brandon Coverdale, Corrine (Alex) Huntzinger, and Zachary (Micah) Coverdale; and three great-grandchildren, Jace Huntzinger, Mckenna Coverdale, and Rileigh Coverdale.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Pearl Harber; daughter, Rita Elaine Coverdale; brother, David Fleenor; and her sisters, Marie Sharp and Ovella Gibson.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Pentecostal Lighthouse Church, 1765 Hannibal St., Noblesville. An additional visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2024, with funeral services at 11 a.m. at the church. Pastor Alfred Parks will officiate. Burial will be at Cicero Cemetery in Cicero.
