Westfield Washington Schools recently held its fourth annual Lego Builders Competition. Teams from Carey Ridge, Maple Glen, Monon Trail, and Oak Trace elementary schools worked to build a Lego house within 45 minutes that met competition requirements. Each team had to demonstrate effective communication skills when presenting to the judges. Through this process, students learn about the fields of architecture, construction, landscape, and interior design all while fostering their own creativity and design skills.
