Shortly before 4 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, units from the Noblesville Fire Department (NFD) were dispatched to the 300 block of Hall Court in response to a reported residential fire.
The homeowners reported being awakened by smoke in their home and were alerted to the fire by smoke detectors sounding in the basement. Upon discovering the source of the smoke, they safely evacuated the home and called 911.

Hamilton County Communications dispatched units from the Noblesville Fire Department, White River Township, and the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. Upon arrival, first responders observed smoke coming from the front door of the residence. Crews entered the walkout basement and quickly located the fire, which was extinguished shortly thereafter.
Thanks to early detection and the swift response of the homeowners and emergency crews, there were no injuries to civilians or firefighters, and fire damage was limited.
