August 6, 1990 – January 5, 2021
Dylan Millikan, 30, Torrance, Calif., formerly of Sheridan, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2021. Dylan was born on August 6, 1990 to Jeffery Mark and Janice Marie (Pickett) Millikan in Indianapolis. He was a graduate of Gulf Breeze High School in Gulf Breeze, Fla., Class of 2008.
He started working at Brooks Life Sciences as an Operations Technician, and after a couple of promotions he became a Biobank Supervisor in Los Angeles, Calif.
Dylan and his wife Nicole were excited to start a new chapter in their lives and fell in love with California. Dylan loved to cook (and eat!). He would search for new recipes for him and Nicole to try. The two of them looked forward to hiking together and spending time at the beach.
When Dylan was not cooking or hiking, he would be found gaming on his computer or just working with electronics. Dylan loved his family and looked forward to their visits together.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole (Stancil) Millikan, and his parents, Jeffery and Janice Millikan. He was a loving brother to his sister, Emma Millikan, and his brother, Matthew (Stacey) Millikan. He was loving grandson to Jim Pickett. Dylan was a proud uncle to Sophia, Sarah and Megan. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and friend, Drake Stancil, along with his mother-in-law, Jackie Stancil, and his father-in-law, Stan (Kate) Stancil. Preceding Dylan in death are his grandparents, Donna Pickett, Marjorie Inman and Jack Millikan.
A celebration of Dylan’s life will be scheduled for a later date. Due to the pandemic restrictions, there will be a private family service at 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 16. For those who would like to view Dylan’s service online, they may do so live on Facebook at Fisher Family Funeral Services.
