Duke Energy powers Noblesville Main Street Farmers Market with season-long sponsorship

Noblesville Main Street on Monday announced Duke Energy as its first season-long sponsor of the Noblesville Farmers Market. This support powers all 24 weeks of the Farmers Market (May 6 through Oct. 14), covers the fee for the nonprofit space each week, and brings a new “safety day” to the Noblesville Farmers Market later this summer.

“Duke Energy continues to be a champion of Noblesville, repeatedly supporting us in our mission to enrich the community,” Noblesville Main Street Executive Director Kate Baker said. “The Farmers Market has become a staple of our community and Duke Energy’s generous sponsorship will help us continue to give Noblesville’s residents and visitors an even more impactful experience this coming spring, summer, and fall.”

“We believe that when our communities thrive, we thrive,” Duke Energy Government and Community Relations Manager Mark LaBarr said. “That’s why we’re proud to support the Noblesville Main Street Farmers Market, which affords local growers, food producers and artisans the opportunity to sell their goods and build a sense of community.”

Over the last five years, the Duke Energy Foundation has awarded nearly $815,000 in grants to Hamilton County organizations to address critical workforce needs, preserve the environment, support mental health services, boost emergency preparedness and support K-12 education.
