Douglas Wayne Pearson, 58, Windfall, Ind., and formerly of Arcadia, passed away on December 4, 2022, at his home.
He was born December 7, 1963, in Sandborn, Ind., to Jack David and Alice Mae (Yagle) Pearson. Growing up he was strong and athletic and started boxing for fun and building strength. But it turned into a definite competitive sport, and he almost made it to Golden Gloves. He also followed the path of his father and worked as an electrician and a plumber. Leisure time would find him sketching, building with Legos, and watching western movies with his favorite actor being John Wayne and True Grit his favorite movie.
He is survived by his mother, Alice Mae Pearson of Arcadia; his fiancée, Sherry Lynn Crail of Windfall, Ind.; brother, Ed Pearson of Arcadia; and a sister, Janet Phillips of Cicero.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack David Pearson.
