Doug A. Miers, 61, Arcadia, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at his home. He was born on December 7, 1956 to Loren and Margaret (Alexander) Miers in New Castle.
Doug proudly served in the United States Air Force. He worked as a medical lab technician at the IU Health Tipton Hospital for over 25 years. Doug enjoyed fishing and camping. He loved spending time with friends and looked forward to the Annual New Earth Festival in Atlanta.
He is survived by his mother, Margaret Kissner; step-daughter, Mindi Robinson; brother, Rick Miers; sister, Kim (Gregg) Hohlt; three grandchildren; three nieces; and two nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Loren, and stepfather, John Kissner, Jr.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Home, 1150 Logan St., Noblesville, with Pastor John Knapp and Pastor Nate Rutledge officiating. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Military rites will follow the service.
