Emerging from the vibrant 1980s ska/punk scene, the Cherry Poppin’ Daddies quickly became known for their unique fusion of swing and other pre-rock musical styles, firmly establishing their place in the national spotlight with their 1997 album Zoot Suit Riot, featuring the Top 40 hit title track. Still fronted by singer-songwriter Steve Perry, the horn-driven, Oregon-based band continues to captivate audiences with its distinctive sound and sharp, thought-provoking lyrics. Their latest endeavor, WWII Tiki Xmas Canteen, is a nostalgic holiday production that channels the spirit and charm of a 1940s radio broadcast.

“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year” to join the Four Phantoms for a joyous holiday celebration at the Palladium. This extraordinary quartet features performers who have played the title role in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Tony Award-winning musical Phantom of the Opera around the world: Brent Barrett, John Cudia, Franc D’Ambrosio and Ciarán Sheehan, under the music direction of Ryan Shirar. Joining them is special guest Kaley Ann Voorhees, one of the youngest performers to play the role of Christine on Broadway. Five-time Emmy winner Jane Lynch (Glee, Weakest Link, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Only Murders in the Building) returns to the Center on her annual holiday tour, featuring songs, stories and comedy with her talented friends. Joining her again this year is Kate Flannery, best known for her nine seasons as Meredith on The Office, and singer-arranger Tim Davis, known for his behind-the-scenes work on Glee and with artists including Barbra Streisand and Lady Gaga. Backing them will be the Tony Guerrero Quintet, a longtime staple of the Southern California jazz scene.

Rising classical crossover star Matteo Bocelli is blazing a trail, selling out tours in Europe, North America and Australia. From his first appearance on single “Fall on Me” with his father, Andrea Bocelli, in 2018, to singing a reimagined version of “Time to Say Goodbye” with new composition from Hans Zimmer at the 2024 Oscars, his career has been going from strength to strength. Matteo’s 2023 self-titled debut album displays all the facets of his artistry – not just his strong yet vulnerable vocal style, but his songwriting as well. The record also features the singer’s hero, Ed Sheeran, who wrote “Chasing Stars” for Matteo, a sweeping ballad that shows off his upper register.

In the 27th anniversary edition of the world’s longest-running jazz-based Christmas tour, saxophonist Dave Koz and his musical friends will perform fresh renditions of timeless Christmas classics – as well as a Chanukah medley – along with hits from their respective catalogs. In a recording career that spans nearly three decades, Koz has racked up honors and achievements including nine Grammy nominations, 11 No. 1 albums on Billboard’s Current Contemporary Jazz Albums chart, and a 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award. Koz’s 11th holiday performance at the Center will feature singer-songwriter Jonathan Butler and special guests including tenor saxophonist Vincent Ingala, guitarist Adam Hawley and vocalist Rebecca Jade.
Jon McLaughlin & Friends: Home for the Holidays

Back by popular demand! Hoosier-born singer-songwriter Jon McLaughlin will perform original Christmas tunes as well as holiday classics alongside some of his talented friends. The Anderson native has been attracting fans with his heartfelt, hook-laden songwriting and impassioned delivery since his 2007 debut album, Indiana. He has released several full-lengths in the years since and revealed a true evolution in both his piano playing and singing. McLaughlin has played shows with Billy Joel, Kelly Clarkson and Adele, collaborated with longtime friend Sara Bareilles, co-written with Demi Lovato and even performed at the Academy Awards. Joining him for this performance will be Nashville-based artists Austin Brown, until recently a longtime member of the country vocal group Home Free, and Gabe Dixon, a singer-songwriter and keyboardist who has recorded and/or toured with artists including Paul McCartney, Alison Krauss and Tedeschi Trucks Band.

Peanut Butter & Jam: Melchior Marionettes’ Holiday Cabaret on Strings

Back by popular demand – Come see this fast-paced, entertaining cabaret featuring handcrafted marionettes. Children and adults will delight in the hilarious antics of the characters and the skill of the puppeteers. The audience can sing along with the holiday classics and other favorites. Designed for children ages 1 to 7, Peanut Butter & Jam sessions engage young children in the arts.

The mission of the nonprofit Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts is to engage and inspire the Indiana community through enriching arts experiences. Its campus includes the 1,500-seat Palladium concert hall, the 500-seat Tarkington theater and the black-box Studio Theater.
