Don’t miss GOP June breakfast meeting

The Hamilton County GOP will hold its June Breakfast Club meeting at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20 at the Bridgewater Club, 3535 E. 161st St., Westfield.

Guest speakers include Westfield Mayor Andy Cook, Judge Paul Felix and Judge Steve Nation, who will be discussing the Hamilton County Youth Assistance Program.

The Westfield Youth Assistance Program was started in 2009 by Mayor Cook and Judge Nation to serve as an early intervention program for children ages 3-17 who are facing challenging life circumstances.  It has expanded throughout the county, and serves children within the school systems.

Hear from the panel about the effect of the program on children and the community, and how you can get involved in this important program in your community.

Youth services include:

  • Referral to mental health counseling, medication management and parenting classes for youth and families
  • Coordination with mentoring programs
  • Family/youth case management
  • Food, clothing and financial assistance
  • Camp and recreation opportunities
  • Tutoring assistance
  • Attendance and truancy support

A Breakfast Club membership is $175. Individual breakfasts are $20. To complete the registration process, all reservations must be paid in advance.
