Nickel Plate Express is chugging into Noblesville to participate in Nickel Plate Arts’ popular Welcome to Fairyville event, taking place now through Saturday.

Nickel Plate Express will offer the Fairy Caboose ride, which departs from Bolden’s Dry Cleaners on Friday and Saturday. This is Nickel Plate Express’ first time participating in Welcome to Fairyville, now in its eighth year. A perirenal family event, Welcome to Fairyville offers Noblesville residents the opportunity to enjoy fairy merriment with safe and sanitary events on the historic square.

“We are excited to join the Welcome to Fairyville lineup and spread merriment this year,” said Dagny Zupin, Executive Director of Nickel Plate Express. “Riders on the Fairy Caboose will enjoy a ride through Noblesville’s enchanted woodlands while sharing a snack with real fairies!”

Nickel Plate Arts Executive Director Aili McGill said the organization is thrilled to have Nickel Plate Express as a partner during this year’s Welcome to Fairyville.

“The Nickel Plate Express is already a fun year-round attraction,” McGill said. “With the addition of fairies, it’s going to be one magical ride.”

Nickel Plate Express’ Fairy Caboose will depart form Bolden’s Dry Cleaners at 5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, and at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 12 p.m., 1 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10. Tickets cost $13, with those age 3 and under riding for free.
