O’Connor’s employer, BMO Harris Bank, matched the donations received by the NFD at the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce’s Holiday Luncheon on Dec. 6 at Purgatory Golf Club. Approximately $2,200 was raised. Chamber members and Hamilton Town Center also provided toys for the annual event. (Photo provided)

The Noblesville Fire Department (NFD) is preparing for its final week of collecting donations for this year’s Christmas Food and Toy Drive taking place on Saturday, Dec. 16. NFD thanks those who have already contributed, but items are still needed to ensure local families have a joyous holiday season.

NFD is accepting canned goods, non-perishable food items, monetary donations (checks are preferred – made payable to the Noblesville Fire Department Legacy Fund) and new, unwrapped toys through Monday, Dec. 11. Donations may be dropped off at any of the Noblesville Fire Stations or at Noblesville City Hall, 16 S. 10th St.

This year marks the 40th anniversary since the program started. NFD has partnered with Kroger for food needs and Meijer for toys. For more information, contact NFD at 317-776-6336, extension 1400.
