Hamilton North Public Library (HNPL) will hold its second annual Taste of Chocolate Creation Contest and Tasting at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 8.
Everyone is encouraged to bring in his or her best chocolate creation for judging (and tasting). The winner receives bragging rights and a $25 gift card.
“If you’re not a cook, baker, or decorator, that’s okay,” said Susan Sparks, president of the HNPL Friends of the Library. “It’s especially fun to taste and vote for your favorite with your spare change.”
This sweet event not only delights the palate, proceeds from the voting will go to the HNPL Friends of the Library for the Summer Reading Program and other library programs.
No registration is required. Admission is free and open to the public. The library is located at 209 W. Brinton St., Cicero.
