Dewillis “Dee” Farley

March 4, 1937 – October 10, 2019

Dewillis “Dee” Farley, 82, Atlanta, passed away October 10, 2019 at Riverview Health. She was born March 4, 1937 in Tompkinsville, Ky., to Osie and Lemi (Adams) Webb.

She was a graduate of Jackson Central High School in Arcadia with the Class of 1954. On July 22, 1955, she married Bill E. Farley.

“Dee”, as she was fondly known, enjoyed her role as a homemaker and greatly enjoyed family gatherings. She also worked at Bargain Bob’s at Atlanta for 30 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, cooking, baking, and being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Alan Farley and Fred A. (Jennifer) Farley, both of Atlanta; grandchildren, Bill (Leah), Joe (Micah), John and Andy Farley; great-grandchildren, Evelyn, Corban and Ethan Farley, sister-in-law, Betty Thomas; and brother-in-law, Jerry Farley.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Osie and Lemi (Adams) Webb, and sisters, Avis Jamison and Cleva Evans.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel, 209 W. Jackson St., Cicero. Graveside rites will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at Arcadia Cemetery, with Pastor Dan Ealy officiating.
