The Indiana Design Center (IDC) is pleased to announce the 2020 LUXE Design Showcase event lineup and design celebrity guest of honor Vern Yip. The two-day event series presented by BRIZO is designed to inspire and be the resource for home design, remodeling and custom building projects.

Setting the Table for Good Design

Friday, April 17 from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

Nationally-acclaimed interior designer, columnist and HGTV personality Vern Yip is the featured guest for the Friday evening portion of the two-day series. To begin the evening, the renowned tastemaker will discuss his creative process and passion for travel and design through a moderated conversation led by WTHR morning news anchor Julia Moffitt.

His appearance is made possible by the generosity of Trend, a division of Fabricut, one of the world’s largest distributors of decorative fabrics for design trade professionals. Trend collaborates with Yip to create an eclectic and inviting collection of fabrics, trimmings and wallcoverings that are available through the Drapery Street and The Trade Resource showrooms at the IDC.

Following the program, guests will enjoy a cocktail reception unveiling elegant tabletop displays decorated by the state’s leading interior designers. Yip will also be signing his latest book, Vacation at Home: Design Ideas for Creating Your Everyday Getaway.

Leadership and volunteers from Carmel Clay Public Library Foundation will return for a second year to host the book signing sales and raffle ticket sales for guests to win a BRIZO SmartTouch® Technology kitchen faucet.

Proceeds from ticket, book and raffle sales will benefit the Art Therapy Program at Riley Hospital for Children through a donation to the Riley Children’s Foundation.

“We are excited to partner with the IDC for the LUXE Design Showcase and highlight the powerful connection between art, creative expression and healing that we see each day at Riley Hospital for Children,” said Pamela Fairchild-Clark, senior major gifts officer for the foundation.

Tickets are $60 person and $120 couple and are available online in advance or at the door. Visit  indianadesigncenter.com/luxedesign to learn more.
