Pneuma, LLC, a trailblazer in online marketing and sales strategies, announced on Tuesday a plan to relocate to Fishers from Denver, Colo., where it will add 26 employees and make a $489,000 capital investment over the next five years.

Specializing in developing cutting-edge websites and providing a comprehensive suite of services including Search Engine Optimization, Webflow Design and Development, Shopify, and more, Pneuma is dedicated to transforming companies’ online presence. Founded by Indianapolis native, David Riggs, the company currently operates from its headquarters in Denver, Colo.

“At Pneuma, we are thrilled to embark on this exciting journey of expansion and growth,” Riggs said. “We are even more happy to be back home in Indiana and are very appreciative of support from the state, Fishers and Launch Fishers. Our mission is to empower businesses with innovative online marketing solutions. Fishers is the ideal location for us to further our vision, and we are eager to tap into the state’s talented workforce.”

As part of its growth strategy, Pneuma will initially occupy the Launch Fishers co-working space. Riggs said he plans to own a dedicated building in the long term to support sustained expansion.

Mayor Scott Fadness said he is pleased to add another dynamic tech company to the city.

“The city of Fishers is built for growth, so we are excited to see the Pneuma team come here to do just that,” Fadness said. “We are proud to have systems in place to support entrepreneurs in our coworking spaces and then explore options for their own standalone business as they continue to innovate and expand their opportunities.”

The Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) committed an investment in Pneuma of up to $400,000 in the form of incentive-based tax credits, based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired.

“We’re always excited to see another Hoosier come home, building the momentum of innovators, entrepreneurs and small business owners choosing to make Indiana their hub while serving customers worldwide,” IEDC Chief Strategy Officer Ann Lathrop said. “Here in central Indiana, Pneuma will have access to a skilled talent pipeline, an engaged and highly collaborative entrepreneurial ecosystem invested in its success, and top-ranked communities to support its growing team.”

Sikich Site Selection & Incentives assisted Pneuma in securing the incentive assistance.
