Dennis Alan Taylor, 72, Noblesville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at his home. He was born on April 27, 1952, to James and Corinne (Noblitt) Taylor in Bloomington, Ind.
Dennis was a 1970 graduate of Spencer High School and received his bachelor’s degree in business from Indiana University. He served as Chief Financial Officer at several insurance companies during his 50-year career. Dennis was a member of the Noblesville First United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf and working on “15-minute jobs.” Dennis loved spending time and making memories with his family, especially with his grandchildren who called him “G-daddy.”
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Sharon (Fryar) Taylor; children, Jake (Ashleigh) Taylor, Amy (Brian) Jenkins, and Adam (Rachael) Taylor; grandchildren, Nicholas Taylor, Harper Taylor, Hayden Taylor, Anna Jenkins, Kyle Jenkins, Breckyn Taylor, and AJ Taylor; and brother, Nolyn (Carol) Taylor.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Glen Taylor.
A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with Rev. Steve Williams officiating. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to the time of service at the funeral home. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville.
