The Noblesville Democratic Committee held their June meeting Wednesday night at the Noblesville Community Center, 336 S. 8th St.
The featured speaker was Dr. Valerie McCray, who is the first African American woman in Indiana to be nominated as a candidate for the United States Senate. In addition, attendees heard from representatives from SERVE Noblesville and the Noblesville Diversity Coalition.
The clearly well-attended event was MC’d by Indiana House District 29 Candidate Dr. Chris Hartig. Noblesville Democrats asked this newspaper to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. McCray for choosing to spend part of her Juneteenth right here in Hamilton County.
