David Moore, 72, Sheridan, passed away on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at his home. He was born on May 26, 1951, to Lloyd and Dorothy (Poynter) Moore in Indianapolis.
David worked as a telecommunications specialist. He enjoyed westerns, reading, doing crosswords and fishing. David loved his dogs, Buddy and Harley, and spending time with and helping his friends.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Schroll; son, Chad (Betsy) Moore; grandson, Jacob Schroll; brother, Steve (Bonnie) Moore; as well as several nephews and nieces.
In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Ann Moore; and his brother, Doug Moore.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024, at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville. Services will be held at noon with an additional visitation beginning at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the funeral home. Rev. VJ Stover will officiate. Burial will be at Crown View Cemetery in Sheridan.
