Darren Keith Thompson, 42, Indianapolis, passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on February 22, 1976 to Larry and Carolyn (Absher) Thompson at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
Darren was Director of Business Development and worked in supply chain risk management. He was a member of Heartland Church, loved to smoke BBQ especially for family and friends, enjoyed playing his grandpa’s guitar and was an avid Atlanta Braves fan. Darren loved his fur kids, Coco, Hattie and Tucker.
He is survived by his loving wife, Abby Thompson; mother, Carolyn Thompson; sisters, Shelly Guzman-McIntyre (Bruce), and Kristy Green (Matt); nieces and nephews, Joshua, Nichole and Jessica Guzman, Jordan (Ann) and Matthew Guzman, and Logan and Ashley Green; great-nieces and great-nephews, Sophia and Mia Guzman, Aiden Green and Evalynn Camp-Green, and Alexa and Emma Guzman; in-laws, Kevin and Debbie McCoy; sister-in-law, Marissa (Ben) Lupo; nephews, Wesley and Eli Lupo; and a multitude of close friends.
Darren was preceded in death by his father, Larry Thompson; nephews, Nicholas Camp-Green and Christopher Green; and grandparents, Ellis and LaVerne Absher and Myers and Nina Thompson.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road, Noblesville, with visitation from noon to the time of service. Pastor Seth Leeman and Pastor Colby Hill will officiate.
