Darlene Jo Bentley, 71, of Noblesville, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at Riverview Health. She was born on January 26, 1946 to Norman and Mildred (Hartman) Castor in Indianapolis.
Darlene retired from Riverview as an insurance biller. She enjoyed reading and watching scary & sci-fi movies, and loved her family.
Darlene is survived by her daughter, Michelle Higgins; son, Victor (Jane) Bentley; mother, Mildred Emma Castor; brother, Tom (Linda) Castor; sister, Arlene (Tim) Nethery; seven grandchildren, Mikey, Meredith, Megan, Maris, Raven Ann, Nick and Taylor; and two great-grandchildren, Reminy Jo and Ryan Lee.
She was preceded in death by her father, Norman L. Castor; and brother, Walter M. “Bud” Castor.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with visitation from 11 a.m. to the time of service. Rev. Stanley R. Sutton will officiate. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
