The Indiana Department of Transportation’s contractor Calumet Civil Contractors will begin closing State Road 32 from State Road 38 to State Road 9 on or after March 19 for up to 45 days to replace two drainage culverts.
One culvert is located 3.5 miles east of State Road 38 between Durbin Road and Prairie Baptist Road in Hamilton County. The other culvert is located 2.8 miles east of State Road 13 between Madison County Roads 800 and 725 West.
During the closures, a signed detour will direct highway traffic around construction via State Road 38, Interstate 69 and State Road 9.
All work on the projects is expected to be complete by November 2018.
