Cross country: Sheridan hosts Invitational, UHS’ Laramore wins boys race

Sheridan hosted its own cross country Invitational on Thursday, with University also participating.
The Trailblazers finished third in the girls competition, with Jada Swearingen leading the way by taking fifth. University’s Noah Laramore won the boys race in 18:13, with the ‘Blazers taking fourth.
The Blackhawks did not have enough runners for complete teams, but had good results from their runners. Alexis Weiss placed third in the girls race, while Breanna Hunter was 11th. Axel Aleman led the Sheridan boys by taking 22nd.
