November 21, 1991 – October 30, 2020
Courtney Brooke Little, 28, Arcadia, went to be with the Lord on Friday evening, October 30, 2020, after a long and hard-fought battle with depression and various other demons in her life. Born November 21, 1991 in Noblesville, she was the daughter of Barry Lee Smith and Polly Jayne (Little) Luttrell.
Courtney attended Ben Davis High School until transferring in 2008 to Options Charter School in Noblesville, where she proudly graduated with the Class of 2010.
Family was everything to Courtney. She was currently living with her father, and that seemed to be a perfect fit. They both loved watching movies and neither of them liked watching them alone, so it made for an ideal living situation. Courtney also liked to travel. She always looked forward to her family’s camping trips with her mom, stepdad, and brother Dustin. Yellowwood State Forest was always a favorite destination. When it was time to burn off some energy and relax a little, going shopping with mom seemed to be just what the doctor ordered. Courtney also enjoyed going bowling with friends.
Courtney is survived by her father, Barry Lee Smith; mother and stepfather, Polly and Jerry Luttrell; daughter, Aaliyah Marie Meyermann, Mooresvile; brothers, William Smith, Sheridan, and Dustin Little, Clermont; sisters, Teresa Akineymi (Felix), Noblesville, Carrie Luttrell (Brandon), Columbus, Laura Smith, Arcadia, and Amber Lydon, Noblesville; nephew, Damien Lydon, Sheridan; niece, Keira Akineymi, Noblesville; maternal grandmother, DeeAnn Little, Sheridan; and maternal grandfather, Martin J. Little (MaBeth) of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Ralph Leon and Doris Jeanne (Ridge) Smith; and by her uncle, Brian Scott Smith.
Private services are being held for family and close friends. A public Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be presented to Kercheval Funeral Home, P.O. Box 42, Sheridan, IN 46069, to help defray funeral expenses.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kercheval Funeral Home in Sheridan. Condolences: KerchevalFuneralHome.com
