County swimmers dominate Enchanted Forest

FAST’s Grace Gannon achieves 10 event wins across three-day meet

The Noblesville Swim Club concluded its 28th annual Enchanted Forest Swim Meet on Sunday, finishing up another successful meet at the Forest Park Aquatic Center.

When it came to local swimmers, no one had more success than Grace Gannon of the Fishers Area Swimming Tigers. She won 10 events for the three-day meet and was the overall top-point scorer in the Girls 9-10 division, totaling 240 points. Another FAST swimmer, Colin Davis, picked up four wins in the Boys 9-10 division.

Ayla Madara also gave FAST another top point scorer, in the Girls 13-14 category. Madara picked up three event wins over the weekend and scored 174 points.

Allie Amsden had the highest place among Noblesville swimmers, as she took second in the Girls 11-12 division with 152 points. Amsden was also a three-time champion at the meet. Westfield Aquatics’ Kiarra Thomas placed fourth in the Girls 13-14 division with 117 points; she had four event wins for the weekend. Macie McQuinn represented Power Aquatics well; her top finish was fifth place in the Girls Open 50 free.
